Hellenic Dairies Group, of which Olympus is part, has been operating in Romania for over 25 years, during which it has consistently invested locally. The Olympus dairy factory in Hălchiu, Brașov County, was inaugurated in 2011, with production serving both the local market and export destinations.

Headquartered in the city of Trikala in Greece, Hellenic Dairies is a third-generation family-owned dairy business with operations in 55 countries worldwide. Olympus currently owns 8 factories in four countries (Greece, Romania, Bulgaria and Cyprus), which produce a full range of dairy products, cheeses, vegetable drinks, natural juices, as well as natural mineral water or soft drinks.
